Similar to other anatomical spinal models, this thoracolumbar model also includes skin, muscles, bony structures, and neurovascular structures. Instrumentation for thoracic spine surgery can become complex if there is not adequate knowledge of the pedicles and proper technology.
Participants will have the opportunity to practice laminectomy, decompression of the yellow ligament, discectomy, placement of transpedicular screws, and arthrodesis with the respective instrumentation and virtual fluoroscopy (without radiation use).
