REGISTRATION

Plagiocephaly is secondary to the premature closure of the unilateral frontoparietal or coronal suture, caused by frontoparietal synostosis (unicoronal) and/or fusion along the coronal suture. It is characterized by facial asymmetry in the frontal region.
With this model, participants will have the opportunity to practice surgery for the correction of plagiocephaly, including the exact site for the incision, proper dissection of the pericranium, the site and shape of cranial cuts, protection of the dura mater, and the final cosmetic outcome.
