Trigonocephaly, caused by the premature synostosis of the metopic suture, possibly restricting the lateral growth of the frontal and temporal bones, affecting the supraorbital ridges, limiting growth, and resulting in apparent hypotelorism.
With this model, participants will have the opportunity to practice surgery for the correction of trigonocephaly, including the exact site for the incision, proper dissection of the pericranium, the site and shape of cranial cuts, protection of the dura mater, and the final cosmetic outcome.

THIS WORKSHOP PROVIDES 14 POINTS TOWARD RECERTIFICATION
