In recent, decades Neurosurgery has changed significantly due to great technological advances applied to improve understanding of pathologies and their anatomical relationship in 3D dimension both internationally and nationally.

The theme of the Meeting from Maximal to Minimal Invasive, Tantum possumus quantum scimus, Ubi labor ibi virtus, (How much we know is how much we have, where there is work there is virtue). Standard approaches as well as minimal invasive, techniques are complementary in the management of complex neurological conditions, and the neurosurgeons must be familiar with both, including new technological developments, to apply both techniques. In order to acquire skills it is vital to attend forums and workshops courses where these principals and problems are discussed. Neurological surgery, requires broad knowledge of anatomy, surgical and micro-anatomy, microsurgical technique and instrumentations, as well as great visualization either with microscope, exoscope or any magnification system.

With this meeting, we want to bring a balance between scientific aspect and colleagues and family interaction, through social activities including: 5K race, football league, an unforgettable family day with a day-trip to the town of Tequila, to know ancient distillers and the processes of Tequila manufacturing with great typical Mexican cousine, local music, and much more.

The city of Guadalajara is a cosmopolitan, wonderful and safe city, the downtown architecture is colonial, with great history, you can visit the first mint, the government palace where they wanted to betray and assassinate Don Benito Juárez, where the famous phrase “The brave do not assassinate”.
