Guadalajara Zoo is the main metropolitan zoo in the city of Guadalajara, it is located on Paseo del Zoo 600 at the height of Calzada Independencia Norte to the east of the Metropolitan Zone of Guadalajara in the municipality of Guadalajara, it is considered one of the most important and largest in the country for its number of species. It stands out for the diversity of species it houses as well as for being one of the main points of Mexican and local environmental organizations who do internationally recognized work for the conservation of species.
